Mullein leaf, also known as beggar’s blanket, candlewick plant, and wooly mullein, has long been used to help treat respiratory disorders and back pain. When used in ointments and salves, it is believed to help speed up recovery of injuries by reducing inflammation, swelling and pain, while preventing infection and aligning tissue.
Infuse in oil for use in soaps, salves, ointments and liniments.

Don’t take large amounts or use this herb long-term. Mullein contains glycyrrhizin compounds.
