PETITGRAIN ESSENTIAL OIL
Petitgrain is a top note with a strong aroma, smelling like orange blossoms, but less floral, more herbaceous, and with a bitter undertone.
Petitgrain is extracted from the leaves and twigs of an orange tree.
Petitgrain blends well most essential oils, notably making Neroli "go further", even possessing many of the same therapeutic properties. Petitgrain blends particularly well with Bergamot, Lavender, Palmarosa, Geranium, Rosewood and Sandalwood.
Petitgrain Oil is sometimes known as Poor Man's Neroli because it is much less expensive than Neroli Oil but it offers many of the same uses and benefits as neroli.
