HOT Process (Crock Pot) Soap Making - 101
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CLASS REQUIRES YOU BRING A CROCK POT (6 to 7 quart) WITH YOU.
If you do not have one, this class is not for you or you could purchase one before the class.
You will learn:
- Safety when working with sodium hydroxide (lye).
- How to make hot process soap using a crock pot.
- How to insulate, cut, and store your soap
- How to line a soap mold
- How to package your finished soap
- Benefits of Hot Process soap over Cold Process Method
You have a finish product that can be used right away - no cure time.
Save money because you use less scent (about 1/2 the amount)
You can use scents that are seizers with no trouble.
Very gentle and mild- right away.
Rustic look or you can trim bars smooth.

You will receive and go home with the following:
• Batch of soap you made in class (retail value of approx. $80- $100) - all oils, lye, and fragrance/essential oils are provided.
• Handout of detailed, step by step soap making instructions
• A custom formulated soap recipe
This class is for people that are at least 18 years of age since there is handling of sodium hydroxide (lye).
Class date/time: 2-3 hour class -
Price: $135 per person
• There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee – must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance
• No shows will not receive a refund, so be sure you can make the class as scheduled.
• People who sign up using a credit card will have first priority for reserving their space in class if it comes down to limited space.
• $10.00 Bring a friend bonus. Sign up a friend for the class and bring them along and save $10 off your class fee (must be purchased at the same time).
