Golden Brands 464 Soy Container Wax
A natural soy wax that holds lots of fragrance oil and helps reduce frosting.

Candle Making Notes:
464 gives a smooth and creamy appearance - mostly due to its low melt point. While this helps create a nice look and helps to reduce frosting, it can be a little too soft for the summer heat. If you are shipping finished candles in hot weather, you may want to look at a soy wax with a higher melt point, like the GB 444. Golden Brands 464 holds lots of fragrance, but even better, it throws fragrance very well.
These soy wax flakes are specially formulated with partially hydrogenated soybean oil and soy based emulsifier (monoglycerides) for container candle use. The emulsifiers allow the soy to be poured at hotter temperatures, while reducing frosting and increasing fragrance oil load. Golden Brands (464) has a lower melting point (113-119 degrees Fahrenheit) which allows for better glass adhesion in container candles and produces less wet spots. Additives such as coloring, fragrance oils or essential oils can be added to this material to create a unique finished product.
Melt Point: 113 - 119° F (do NOT exceed 200° F as this may discolor and/or burn your wax)

Pour temp: 130° (+/- 5°)
